80/20? What’s That?

“80/20” in the world of food and diet is a simple little rule of thumb that says— you should basically try to eat healthy at least 80% of the time. This allows 20% of the time for you to be more carefree with your diet.  While we strongly believe you should at all times try to eat nutritious foods, this little rule is not such a bad one.  In essence, if we insist on eating cheat meals more often than not, then perhaps it’s best to set the limit for “junk meals” to 20% of your week’s food consumption.
