Fitness Tip: Maintain Your Contraction
When doing traditional ab crunches (laying on your back, with knees up and feet planted), always maintain your contraction throughout the entire exercise movement. Don’t ease up on the way down as you are going back to the floor away from your knees. Hold the contraction. This will give your abs the best workout and results. And you’ll be on your way to getting a toned and solid mid section. Perhaps even a six pack, if you’re consistent with your ab exercises and diet.
